My Expedition offer a range of standard trips to iconic destinations as well as the opportunity to create a more tailored adventure.

My Expedition is happy to take you on an adventure with your tent, swag, camper trailer or caravan and will mix and match accommodation styles from bush camps, caravan parks and even arrange accommodated scenic road trips. Each expedition will include two support vehicles to ensure you have a great adventure. The lead vehicle will guide you on the trip and the second vehicle will follow at the back of the group to provide any extra support should it ever be needed.

Director, Trip Leader

Long time explorer, passionate traveller, avid 4wdriver, amateur photographer, with a passion to share the joys of an expedition wherever you want to go.

Glen has years of experience leading trips for a well-known NSW 4wd club. His trips have varied in length from day and weekend adventures through to multi week expeditions. He has led trips through the Victorian high country, around Tasmania, up to the tip of Cape York, across to Thursday Island and to his favourite areas of the red centre and in particular into the Simpson Desert. Other adventures have included a 31 trans-Australia expedition with 12 vehicles and 23 people including several overseas travellers. Additionally, Glen has been green laning in the United Kingdom and undertaken overlanding trips through east and west Africa and is more than happy to arrange an African safari for you.

With his experience and preference for small group tours Glen will focus on the interests of the group whether it include aboriginal history and art, colonial history, 4wd tracks, bird watching, photography or even just a scenic accommodated road trip.

Director, Support

For all his adult life Wal has had an interest in four wheel driving. His experience began from contending with logging trucks on Frazer Island, some forty years ago, to adventuring and touring across Australia. He has travelled through the outback to isolated communities, across the continent following the path of the Leyland Brothers from Steep Point to Byron Bay, and made

many crossings of the Simpson Desert, including the Madigan Line. Other areas he has been to include Far North Queensland taking the Old Telegraph Track to Bamaga and Cape York Peninsula, down to the Victorian High Country following well known tracks like Blue Rag Range and Billy Goat Bluff before crossing to Tasmania to tackle the Balfour and Climies tracks on the west coast.

Being trained in the Telecommunications Industry he has received a thorough base of knowledge in the mechanical and auto-electrical areas which have proven to be very useful in recent years with his extensive touring throughout Australia. With over thirty years in the transport industry Wal has worked for the past ten years  in the area of vehicle recovery and salvages, as well as management and training. An ideas man he finds good solutions to problems, is open and approachable, willing to share his knowledge and offer support when needed. A valuable man to have at your back and is more than happy to safely guide and assist the most inexperienced through their very first 4wd adventure.
